St. John Chrysostom Children's Choir

The goal of the Children's Choir is to teach children the language of music and artisic expression within the context of a catholic christian commnity of faith, and devotion, which includes active and regular participation in the church liturgies.

Participants in the Children's Choir Program are actively involved in the spiritual and liturgical life of the church. They serve as "MINISTERS OF MUSIC" at weekly masses and selected liturgies throughout the year.

We are commited to fostering excellent musicianship and knowledgeable participation in liturgy. These will include on-going music theory, ear-training, sight-singing, discipline, and the fundamentals of liturgy.
